We offer a variety options to assist in your faith journey including Bible Studies aids for personal devotions, Ministries suited for your life situation, as well as letting you know: you’ve got support.

Men’s Ministry
We support and have each other’s backs, especially us men. No matter your life situation, we are here to walk alongside you as we all continue to grow and develop as Men of God. South Lake has once a month Guys’ Gatherings where we typically have some kind of meat with sides and relax to support each other. There are also Men-Specific Bible Studies through RightNow Media. Lastly, always stay tuned for any retreat or larger Men’s Activities.
Women’s Ministry
You are not alone going through life and taking care of yourself as well. Our Women’s Ministry at South Lake is created for you by you. No matter your life circumstances, there are wonderful women to surround and encourage you. South Lake has a monthly Ladies’ Gathering where we typically have some kind of study or opportunity to relax. There are also Women-Specific Bible Studies through RightNow Media. Lastly, always stay tuned for any retreat or larger Women’s Activities.
Students’ Gatherings
Each of us is born to seek out a relationship with Jesus. As our children continue to grow and learn about themselves, they are also growing to becoming who God made them to be. At South Lake, we want to help our students grow in their relationship with Jesus. We offer Sunday School at 10am to help students who are at conversational level to read and discuss the impact of different Bible readings in their lives. We offer a Confirmation course for our 6th grade and up students to develop and keep in their faith for the rest of their lives. We also have Family Gatherings and soon, gatherings for High Schoolers to attend as well. Lastly, take a look at the different children’s material that RightNow Media has to offer for your family.
South Lake Church is League City’s Newest Lutheran Church. Lutheran. Specifically we are associated with the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. To be Lutheran simply means that we accept the scriptural truths that inspired the reformation of the Christian Church in the 16th century and led to a renewed focus on the Gospel.
