The Creed
From the very beginning, the early church body of believers confessed certain beliefs about God. We’ll journey through what we believe when we say Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
God, The Father in Heaven
Join South Lake Church today 10:30am at Hometown Heroes Park and Online as we go over what we believe in the Apostles’ Creed over the next 5 weeks. #EngageGrowShare cause it’s about #RelationshipsWithJesus.
What We Believe – The Life of the Son
Today, we look to the Life of the Son. Jesus was born into this world, lived a life with His people, taking on their and our suffering and even death, and yet He rose again so that we all have a relationship with The Father. It a can be difficult to share this Good News with others, but it is News worth sharing.
What We Believe – After the Crucifixion
Today, we look to what happened after the Crucifixion. There is suffering in this world, you, we, experience suffering. The Christian message is not that we don’t have suffering but instead a suffering that leads to Jesus. For Jesus was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell. The third day He rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. What does that mean for all of us?
What We Believe – The Holy Spirit
Today, we look to our relationship with the Holy Spirit. It a broken world, a world groaning, the Holy Spirit continues to be a presence. The Spirit gives us faith in the Son and the Spirit takes our prayers to the Father. In a broken world, thank God, we have the presence of the Holy Spirit.

Start Your Relationship with Jesus
South Lake Church is League City’s Newest Lutheran Church. Lutheran. Specifically we are associated with the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. To be Lutheran simply means that we accept the scriptural truths that inspired the reformation of the Christian Church in the 16th century and led to a renewed focus on the Gospel.
