Students’ Ministry
Each of us is born to seek out a relationship with Jesus. As they continue to grow and learn about themselves, they are also growing to becoming who God made them to be. At South Lake, we want to help our students grow in their relationship with Jesus. We offer Sunday School at 10am to help students who are at conversational level to read and discuss the impact of different Bible readings in their lives. We offer a Confirmation course for our 6th grade and up students to develop and keep in their faith for the rest of their lives. We also have Family Gatherings and soon, gatherings for High Schoolers to attend as well. Lastly, take a look at the different children’s material that RightNow Media has to offer for your family.
Sunday Bible Study
Sunday’s at 10am at Hometown Heroes Park, League City students gather together to read a passage from the Bible and then have a conversation amongst each other.
Confirmation – Keep the Faith
South Lake Confirmation Class Sign up for Students 6th grade and older. Throughout this school year, you will learn about how to engage with your faith, grow in faith amongst friends, and share it with others. This will be available both online and in-person, with our first meeting being an overview. This class is for both students and their parents to attend.
South Lake will be providing a Catechism and a Getting to Know Jesus book per Student

South Lake Church is League City’s Newest Lutheran Church. Lutheran. Specifically we are associated with the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. To be Lutheran simply means that we accept the scriptural truths that inspired the reformation of the Christian Church in the 16th century and led to a renewed focus on the Gospel.
